G16 would like to thank all of the firefighters, first responders, and support staff who have worked hard for our community! BUE students and GVMS students were able to show their gratitude with a thank you banner and thank you cards. G16 St. John's District Office was happy to host the Colorado Incident Management Team and firefighters from around the country. Thank you all for your hard work and keeping our community safe!

Last week, G16 students filled the lawn at the Grand Valley Methodist Church for the School-Based Family Resource Center's Back-to-School Event. Students received new shoes, socks, backpacks, and school supplies to help them start the school year with confidence.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone whose generosity made this event possible. Thank you to our amazing community for donating at Gio's, Alpine Bank, The Little Coffee Shack, and Retro Frizz. Thank you to Callahan's for hosting a school supply drive, and a special thank you to Grand Valley United Methodist Church for partnering with us to provide 80 students with new shoes and socks for the school year.
Your kindness and support are making a real difference in the lives of our students and families. Thank you for investing in our community!

La ultima semana los estudiantes de G16 llenaron el jardín de la Iglesia Metodista de Grand Valley para el evento de Regreso a Clases del Centro de Recursos Familiares Basado en la Escuela. Los estudiantes recibieron zapatos nuevos, calcetines, mochilas y útiles escolares para comenzar el año escolar con todo lo necesario.

Every dollar dropped in helps provide school supplies for students in our community.

Grab a refreshing drink, toss your spare change in the jar, and help us fill backpacks with the supplies kids need to succeed.
