If you are a child, you have a child(ren), or you know of a family with a child(ren) in Garfield County School District 16, that would benefit from a new pair of shoes for next school year 2025-2026, fill out the Google Form. Shoes will be distributed at a later date. If you are unsure of your child's shoe size please visit us at the School Based Family Resource Center for a fitting.

SAVE THE DATE!
If your student plans to play in any sport, they will be required to have a sports physical. Grand River Health will be providing FREE sports physicals. Battlement Mesa will have them on July 14th and July 15th from 4-6pm. Rifle will have them on July 17th and July 18th from 4-6pm. Please check the flyer for more information.
Important: A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the required CHSAA paperwork, including the medical history form. No student may participate in sports without this completed documentation.

The Parachute Branch Library is currently under construction, but we are still open to the public. Patrons can pick up reserved items, return items, and browse our tiny temporary collection. We have a Print Station available for printing, copying, faxing, and scanning.
Patrons can still pick up a free yard sign to show their library love!
We are holding all of our programs at various sites in the community - the Rec Center, Historical Schoolhouse, the Family Resource Center, the Funky Bear, and others.
The Summer Reading Challenge starts June 1. We have so many cool activities planned, starting with a Splashdown at the Splash Park during the Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 7.
