BUE 2nd Graders Sing for Mesa Vista

BUE 2nd Graders visited Mesa Vista yesterday singing holiday songs for residents to hear. Ms. Mayerle, BUE 2nd Grade Teacher who organized the event explained "In our literacy unit, we are learning about how we can help our community. Our goal was to bring joy and inclusiveness to the elderly up here, and help them feel happy this time of year."

Los estudiantes de segundo grado de BUE visitaron Mesa Vista ayer cantando canciones navideñas para que los residentes las escucharan. La Sra. Mayerle, maestra de segundo grado de BUE que organizó el evento explicó: "En nuestra unidad de alfabetización, estamos aprendiendo cómo podemos ayudar a nuestra comunidad. Nuestro objetivo era traer alegría e inclusión a los ancianos aquí arriba, y ayudarlos a sentirse felices en esta época del año."
