G16 Board of Education News

On November 11, 2025, the Garfield County School District 16 Board of Education thanked Kim Whelan for her 4 1/2 years of service on the Board. The Board then swore in Brent Baker, Samuel Stewart, and Hunter Long, who were elected by acclamation. Thank you to Kim for your years of service to the students and staff of our school district, and thank you to our new directors for filling important roles on our Board.

El 11 de noviembre de 2025, la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar 16 del Condado de Garfield agradeció a Kim Whelan por sus 4 1/2 años de servicio en la Junta. La Junta juró a Brent Baker, Samuel Stewart y Hunter Long, quienes fueron elegidos por aclamación. Gracias a Kim por sus años de servicio a los estudiantes y el personal de nuestro distrito escolar, y gracias a nuestros nuevos directores por llenar roles importantes en nuestra Junta.
