Join us for all the Halloween Festivities! 

  1. Parachute Branch Library is hosting a Day of the Dead Celebration Saturday, Oct. 26th 5pm - 7pm at GVMS (0364 Sipprelle Drive, Battlement Mesa, CO 81635)
  2. GVHS Key Club is hosting a Halloween Carnival Oct. 26th 6pm - 9pm at GVHS (800 Cardinal Way, Parachute, CO 81635)
  3. Parachute Branch Library is hosting Pumpkin Carving and Painting Monday Oct. 28th 11:30 am at the library (244 Grand Valley Way, Parachute, CO 81635)
  4. Parachute/Battlement Mesa Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Trunk or Treat Thursday, Oct. 31st 4:30pm - 6:30pm at BUE (0741 Tamarisk Trail, Battlement Mesa, CO 81635). Following, there is a GVHS Volleyball game at GVHS. Bring your student in costume, and get in for free!

Day of the Dead Celebration. Join us for facepainting and a Catrin and Catrina costume contest where the winner gets a prize! Traditional bread, tamales, and beverages served. We will use the day to gather together, remember, and celebrate our loved ones.
Join us at GVHS for the Halloween Carnival! All are welcome! There will be games, prizes, dancing and more! Admission is $20 for an unlimited wristband, and $8 for a 10-punch card. October 26, 6pm- 9pm at GVHS

The great pumpkin craft! Your Garfield County Libraries are hosting pumpkin carving and painting. Pumpkins, patterns, and tools will be provided while supplies last. One pumpkin per group, but feel free to bring your own. Rifle Oct. 18th 11am. New Castle Oct. 19th 10am. Silt Oct. 19 1pm. Carbondale/Glenwood Oct. 23 2:30pm, Parachute, Oct. 28 11:30am. Free!
