Student Intern - Outdoor Education

Garfield County School District 16 is proud to announce our student interns! Thanks to funding from Aspen Community Foundation, G16 has been able to hire several student interns throughout our district.

Samantha Hill is one of our Outdoor Education Interns. Here is an introduction from Samantha:

"My name is Samantha Hill and I have lived in Parachute my entire life. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, crocheting, hiking, camping and hunting. As an intern, I help pack trailers for field trips and help with organizing the gear room. After high school, I plan to attend Colorado Mesa University, where I intend to major in Biology while completing the prerequisites for veterinary school. After graduating from CMU, I hope to be accepted into Colorado State University’s Veterinary Medicine program."

El Distrito Escolar 16 del Condado de Garfield se enorgullece de anunciar a nuestros trabajadores estudiantil. Gracias a la financiación de la Fundación Comunitaria de Aspen, G16 ha podido contratar a varios trabajadores estudiantil en nuestro distrito.

 Samantha Hill es una de nuestras trabajadoras del Educación del Aire Libre. Aquí hay una introducción de Samantha:

"Me llamo Samantha Hill y he vivido en Parachute toda mi vida. En mi tiempo libre me gusta leer, hornear, tejer a ganchillo, hacer senderismo, acampar y cazar. Como trabajadora estudiantil, ayudo a preparar los remolques para las excursiones y a organizar el almacén de material. Después de terminar la prepa, planeo asistir a la Universidad Colorado Mesa, donde estudiaré Biología y completaré los requisitos previos para la facultad de veterinaria. Tras graduarme de CMU, espero ser admitida en el programa de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Estatal de Colorado."
